Improvisational theatre (Improv) is an art in which an ensemble of actors creates improptu stories, possibly with a music created in the moment, starting from suggestions given by the audience. For reservation  https://it.surveymonkey.com/r/RegistrationVisitSanVincenzoPier (reservations open at the 10th of September) First come, first served

Heritage walks, promoted by Council of Europe and the European Commission, are thematic routes through which inhabitants rediscover places, traditions, monuments as part of the cultural heritage of their community, not only because of the artistic and architectural value of the sites and their historical significance, but also for their importance in the conduct of daily life and activities. During the walk, participants have the opportunity to meet people who live in or have a relationship with the area visited, the so-called “witnesses”. This walk on Molo San Vincenzo wants to rediscover a neglected part of the city, its history, its evolution. Today the Pier is still outside the life of the city, but thanks to the intervention of Research Bodies, Federico II University, associations and stakeholders of the maritime cluster, it is now close to a reuse aimed at the well-being of citizens and the entire city, promoted and implemented by the synergy of the Municipality of Naples, the Navy and the Port Authority. The initiative is the result of the collaboration of Community Psychology Lab Federico II, CNR IRISS, Propeller Club Port of Naples, aniai Campania and Friends of Molo San Vincenzo. The itinerary will unfold along the Pier visiting the sites that have characterized its history and the projects that are under discussion for the city. The Major of Naples is invited.

KEYNOTES

Keynote

Special interactive session on Psychologists and Peace

 Opening: Bradley  Olson

 Keynote: Serdar Değirmencioğlu

If we talk about psychologists and peace there are some different options:

1) The need to create empathy and deconstruct the enemy and the war rhetoric (Gert Sommer);

2) The need to recreate life and trust in post conflict using also creativity, storytelling and dialogue opportunity among people;

3) Dealing with war effects in the population and acting as emergency intervention. There are in fact a lot of supporting action for Ukraine population.

In Italy there are also scholars (Zamperini) discussing ethic values, more focus in a political perspective (Mazzara) or  studying peace representations (Sarrica), but which intervention is to prioritize.

Our main question as CP concerns how to deal with Russian Ukraine war.

 In Africa there are some experiences from women in peace movements and associations that seems very interesting, but what about Russia / Ukraine war? There are already some Ideas? Which are the best ways to promote peace?
